A Family Filled with Mothers

We continue to look at the concept of family. God bringing together people, who would not normally come together, in Jesus and creating a family. In the family there are mothers.

In Genesis 2 we see God created a helper for Adam. The word "helper" is used 19 times in the Old Testament, often defining God who comes to the rescue.

Women, a helper isn’t someone defined by household duties, sitting in the background, or thinking of themselves as lesser than.

A helper was made uniquely by God to be tenacious in prayer, and with faith that God actually hears.

A helper was made to rescue, to be a warrior, to be a believer when things seem overwhelmingly dark, to be an encourager when others confuse their identity in Christ.
