What We Believe

We believe the 66 books of Scripture — Old and New Testament — are the fully inspired, authoritative Word of God. Without error in all that they affirm.

We read it in community, interpret it in context, and trust it to speak into every part of our lives.

We believe in one God, eternally existing in three co-equal persons:

Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Each is fully God.

Distinct in person. One in essence, will, and nature.

This is the foundation of our faith — and the source of all genuine community.

We believe Jesus Christ is the eternal Son of God: fully divine, fully human.

Conceived by the Holy Spirit. Born of a virgin. Lived without sin.

Died on the cross as a willing substitute for ours.

Rose bodily on the third day. Ascended to the Father.

Coming again in glory.

He is Lord — not just teacher, not just example.

King of kings. Savior of the world.

Jesus Christ is fully God and fully man. He lived a
sinless life, died for sinners, rose bodily from the dead, ascended into
heaven, and will return in glory.

We believe the Holy Spirit is the third person of the Trinity — fully God,

present and active in the world and in every believer.

He convicts, draws, indwells, empowers, and equips.

We believe the gifts of the Spirit are active and available today.

The Holy Spirit reveals Christ, convicts of sin, indwells
believers, empowers ministry, and distributes spiritual gifts for the building
of the Church.

We believe every person is made in the image of God and deeply loved.

And we believe every person is broken by sin and in need of redemption.

Salvation is God's gift — given freely, received by grace through faith alone.

It cannot be earned. It can only be received.

Those who receive it are forgiven, adopted into God's family,

and transformed by the Spirit over a lifetime.

Salvation is wholly a work of God’s free grace. It is
received through repentance and faith in Jesus Christ alone and is never earned
by human effort.

We believe the Church is the body of Christ —

a global, multi-generational family of people who follow Jesus together.

The local church is not a building or a program. It is a people.

Called to worship God, grow in community, and love the world.

Every follower of Jesus is a minister. Every life is a mission.

The Church is the body of Christ, called to worship,
discipleship, fellowship, service, and mission under biblical leadership.

We practice believer's baptism by immersion —

a public declaration of faith in Jesus,

and an identification with his death and resurrection.

We share communion regularly as a community act of remembrance

and ongoing declaration of faith.

Baptism is a public declaration of faith, symbolizing
union with Christ, cleansing from sin, and incorporation into the Church. It
does not save but testifies to God’s saving grace.

We believe the Lord’s Supper is a sacred encounter where
believers remember Christ’s sacrifice, experience His spiritual presence, and
receive fresh strengthening through the Holy Spirit. We welcome the active
ministry of the Spirit—bringing renewal, healing, repentance, and deeper
intimacy with Christ as we partake in faith.

We believe Jesus rose bodily from the dead.

His resurrection guarantees the resurrection of all who believe.

There is a real heaven. There is a real hell.

We hold this with sorrow, not satisfaction.

And it deepens our urgency to love people toward Jesus.

All people will experience bodily resurrection and
judgment. Believers will enjoy eternal life with God; unbelievers will face
eternal separation.

Believers are governed by Scripture and guided by
conscience informed by the Spirit and wise counsel.

affirm the historic Christian faith expressed in the Five Sola; Saved by grace
alone, Through Christ alone, Received by faith alone, Guided by Scripture
alone, For the glory of God alone and seek unity in essentials, liberty in
non-essentials, and charity in all things.
