Local Missions

The mission starts here

The mission starts here

Into our neighborhoods.
Into the hard places.
Into the stories that need hope.

Mission isn't a department at Restoration.
It's the heartbeat of every follower of Jesus.

We go because Jesus went.
We serve because we've been served.
We show up because the world is still waiting
to hear the good news of Jesus.

We believe every follower of Jesus is
sent to their neighborhood, workplace,
school, store, or coffee shop.
It is our desire to equip every
follower of Jesus for the work of ministry.

Gateway Mission

Gateway is a wonderful organization that is bringing hope to hurting people all around West Michigan.
We serve by leading their Thursday worship gathering, bringing testimonies, songs, and the good news of Jesus.

Every Sunday morning at 9:00 am, before the rest of Holland has finished its coffee, we set tables for the homeless community at our community breakfast.

Community Breakfast.
Everyone welcome.
Sundays, 9am
No questions asked.
Just food and belonging.

Community Programs

Some of our people have planted themselves in Fennville, a small community with big need.
They're quietly doing the work of loving their neighbors.
It's not flashy. It doesn't make the bulletin.
It's just Jesus, with an address.

AND THEN THERE'S EVERYTHING WE DON'T OFFICIALLY TRACK.
Many of our people serve in neighborhoods, workplaces, and ministries that never appear in a church announcement.
They're there because they can't help it. Because once you understand what you've been given, you start looking for places to give it away.

There's a place for you in this.

Reaching the Forgotten

We believe Jesus calls us to love and serve people who are often overlooked—the hurting, the forgotten, and those struggling with addiction or walking through recovery. Our outreach creates a place where people can find grace without judgment, community instead of isolation, and hope for a new beginning. We believe no one is beyond God’s reach, and every person has dignity, purpose, and a story worth restoring.
