I Have Decided to Follow Jesus

Following Jesus begins with a simple decision: to trust Him with your life.

We believe salvation is found in Jesus alone. He came to us, lived among us, died on the cross for our sins, and rose again. Through His death and resurrection, Jesus offers forgiveness, freedom, and new life to anyone who puts their faith in Him. As Scripture says, “There is salvation in no one else” (Acts 4:12).

When we place our faith in Jesus, everything begins to change. We are forgiven. We become children of God. We receive the Holy Spirit. We are given a new identity and the promise of eternal life. We are no longer defined by our past, our failures, or the things we've done. We belong to God.

The Christian life isn't simply about making a decision one day and moving on. It's about learning to follow Jesus every day. God begins a work of restoration in us—changing our hearts, shaping our character, and teaching us to love God and others more like Jesus. We become a new creation (2 Corinthians 5:17), not because we suddenly become perfect, but because God is making us new.

And how do we know that this new life is real? Part of it happens within us as the Holy Spirit reminds us that we belong to God (Romans 8:16). And part of it becomes visible in the way we live—through the growing fruit of the Spirit: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control (Galatians 5:22–23).

Salvation is the beginning of the journey, not the end.
