We don't just gather — we go.

The mission starts here

The mission starts here

Into our neighborhoods.
Into the hard places.
Into the stories that need hope.

Mission isn't a department at Restoration.
It's the heartbeat of every follower of Jesus.

We go because Jesus went.
We serve because we've been served.
We show up because the world is still waiting
for someone to.

Local Mission

Holland has real needs. We want to be part of meeting them.

We don't believe mission trips are the whole story.
We believe in neighbors — and then the world.

Gateway Mission

Once a month, on Thursday evenings, our team goes to Gateway Mission to lead chapel for the men there.
We bring music, a message, and the simple gift of showing up. These aren't easy lives.
And consistent, unhurried presence is one of the most powerful things we know how to offer.

Every Sunday morning at 9:00 am — before the rest of Holland has finished its coffee — we set tables for the homeless community.

Open community breakfast. Everyone welcome.
No questions asked. Just food and belonging.

Fennville

Some of our people have planted themselves in Fennville, a small community with big need.
They're quietly doing the work of loving their neighbors.
It's not flashy. It doesn't make the bulletin.
It's just Jesus, with an address.

AND THEN THERE'S EVERYTHING WE DON'T OFFICIALLY TRACK.
Many of our people serve in neighborhoods, workplaces, and ministries that never appear in a church announcement.
They're there because they can't help it. Because once you understand what you've been given, you start looking for places to give it away.

There's a place for you in this.

Global Mission

The Great Commission doesn't have a zip code. We've made a commitment: 30% of everything that comes in to Restoration goes to missions — local and global.

 That's not an accident. That's a theology.
We believe the church exists for the world, not for herself.

We can't go everywhere. But we can send people who can.
And sometimes, we go.

Austin & Tate Bonnema

Austin and Tate are training chaplains to work alongside local chiefs
across Africa.

Real change happens through local leaders. They build the capacity. They build the trust. Then they get out of the way.

Levi & Faith Boersema

Levi and Faith are doing two kinds of work that require the same kind of courage.

They develop church leaders and train chaplains across the continent. And in Zambia, they walk alongside women who have been exploited and trafficked — helping them find a way out and a way forward.

This is sacred, hard, exactly the kind of work Jesus would be standing in the middle of.

Reece Vankirk

Reece is doing evangelism in Malaysia — taking the message of Jesus into places it isn't welcomed and to people who need to hear it anyway.

WE'VE ALSO GONE.

Restoration has sent teams on mission trips locally and internationally.
We're still becoming in this area.
The vision is bigger than we've lived into yet.
But we believe the best version of Restoration is a church that prays, gives, sends — and goes.

If you have a heart for global mission, we want to talk.

Serve at Restoration

You don't have to have it all figured out to serve.
Whatever your gift — there's a place for it here.

Hospitality

Be the first smile someone sees.

Worship Team

Lead people into God's presence.

Kids Ministry

Create environments where kids encounter Jesus.

Media & Communications

Tell the story of what God is doing here.

Setup & Logistics

Make Sunday possible behind the scenes.

Prayer Team

Pray over what others carry.

Serving is not volunteering. It's formation.
We grow by giving ourselves away.
